Self Leadership & Healing
Learning & Implementing Internal Family Systems Therapy
A Training for Mental Health Professionals
October 15th-18th, 2024 9 am- 5pm daily
Location TBD, Treasure Valley, Idaho
About the Event:
About Self Leadership
Self Leadership is based off the Internal Family Systems therapy modality and is an eclectic approach in guiding clients utilizing psychotherapy built upon the concepts of systems thinking, multiplicity, and attachment. This approach is a non-pathologizing intrapsychic therapy in which events (trauma, adverse experiences) have influenced parts (subpersonalities) of the system to become extreme protectors of the vulnerable, hurting, young parts of the system. This therapy attends to all parts of the system as having good intentions while healing relationships between these extreme and hurting parts with the Self of the person.
